What a good stay! The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and cozy, complete with thoughtful touches. The food was great, though breakfast service could be quicker. A hidden gem worth visiting again!

Everything was fantastic, attentive staff made our stay enjoyable! We booked family room with lovely bathroom and enjoyed it. The atmosphere created was family. Location: the hotel was very close to the canal, and Lancaster.

Fabulous food for dinner and breakfast. Location next to restaurant/ pub, the Lakes, Blackpool, Morecombe, Lancaster, and the Penines and Close to the M6.

really good stay with easy access to historical landmarks and parks

As a solo traveler who appreciates charm, I loved that the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating, and my room had a fabulous Nespresso machine.

What a lovely stay we had over Christmas! The hotel's beautiful rural location really set the mood for the festive season. The staff were good, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We enjoyed the comfy beds and the clean, well-decorated rooms. Plus, the breakfasts were such a treat with plenty of options to choose from each morning! The fine countryside views were just the icing on the cake.

If I had to nitpick, I'd say the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. during breakfast, I noticed the yogurt selection was somewhat limited, and the fruit salad could use a little more variety. But overall, these were minor bumps in an otherwise fantastic experience!

I had an incredible stay recently, with the room being spotless and instantly cozy. The breakfast was to die for, especially the perfectly cooked bacon! The Nespresso machine in my room was a delightful surprise.

Ample free parking ensured we had no issues finding a spot. The family room had quality furnishings and modern amenities making it a comfortable space for our stay.

Traffic noise from the nearby road proved to be a disturbance at night, potentially affecting light sleepers. Despite the high-tech fan in the room, we found the temperature difficult to regulate and could have used clearer instructions for better comfort. Limited privacy was a concern, as the room faced the outdoor garden area. Had it been occupied, we would have felt the need to close the curtains tightly, sacrificing daylight.

Comfortable room, powerful shower, with delicious cooked breakfasts and a vibrant bar/lounge ambiance available to unwind after a long drive from the nearest airport located just 73 km away.

Check-in seemed like a warm hug, with friendly staff explaining everything. The room? Spotlessly clean with a cozy vibe. Fresh towels and high-quality toiletries. I enjoyed a lovely evening at the restaurant, where the dinner hit all the right notes. Breakfast was a highlight, with crispy bacon and Cumberland sausages that tasted fantastic. Special credit to Heather for her attentive service. The location provided easy access to lovely walks, which I appreciated. On a minor note, the window in my room didn't shut properly, but it didn't affect my comfort much. I noticed a little dust on the window sills and bookshelves, but it didn't overshadow the overall cleanliness. My dog loved the sausages! The ambiance felt very inviting, though I wouldn't mind some more contemporary decor in the common areas. I'll definitely return for another stay!

A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Enjoyed our 3-night stay! The peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing getaway. Staff were friendly and helpful. While the room lacked storage and seating options, the on-site restaurant offered good meals-be sure to try the local specialties. Consider bringing extra chairs if you like lounging.

Dinner was flavorful, but the flies interrupted our sleep.

The double room was immaculate, yet no air conditioning made it a bit warm.

Spent a couple of nights here and loved the hearty breakfast and the cozy bar where locals hang out. It was great to relax in the well-kept garden and unwind in the nice little lounge. The bed was a bit awkward with two singles pushed together, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay! 😊

Great stay with friendly vibes!

The staff were super friendly. Food options were excellent, especially the vegan choices. Bathroom was nice and had a strong shower. Only bummer was the parking took a minute to figure out, but all in all, it was a solid stay.

I appreciated the warm, cute decor and spacious dining areas. The staff were attentive.

Wi-Fi could be more reliable for seniors.
